JOIN DAR/GENEALOGY ASSISTANCE

DAR membership is open to women over eighteen who can prove lineage dating from a patriot in the American Revolution. Research guidance and assistance is available through the chapter and through the NSDAR headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The Chapter Registrar works closely the DAR Genealogy Research Service (GRS) in Washington, D.C., to assist prospective members in tracing lineage to ancestors who participated in the American Revolution. The WHP Registrar can guide you through the research to prove lineage and submit your membership application 

 

The Genealogical Research System is known to be one of the most outstanding lineage research centres in the world.

Prospective DAR members are invited to contact WHP to begin the application process. We can provide extensive assistance with preparing applications before they are submitted to National Headquarters in Washington, D.C., for verification.
